A little bit about me…

I grew up on Australia’s Sunshine Coast where I failed to get a tan and I never learned to surf. But it was where I was introduced to graphic design. I designed t-shirts and one day someone said “hey you can make a career out of this”…

So I went and studied design and advertising. I then got selected as one of 12 people to take part in AWARD School, worked in design agencies, and fell in love with photography.

I’ve done as all Aussies do and lived a few years in London where I ate at Aussie restaurants, drank Aussie coffee, and made Aussie friends - ‘the London experience’.

Now I’m living in Amsterdam (my forever home), where I’ve made Aussie friends and drink coffee at Australian cafes… Ik spreek een beetje Nederlands, en ik blijf leren.

I’m proud to say that I’ve made a career out of this (I have to go back and tell that person!). I’m working as part of a marketing and brand team for a global sustainability firm. I’m on the marketing leadership team as Head of Creative. It’s a role that’s a mix of Creative Director, Brand Manager, and Studio Manager. I manage a team of creatives and multiple stakeholders around the world.

I was recently chosen as one of 30 creatives from around the world to attend the Cannes Festival Of Creativity and Creative Academy.
